"The Old Ways" is a group of four musicians from Ascoli Piceno which is a new and fascinating reality in the music scene today. Their repertoire consists mainly of Celtic music and Irish and medieval sacred and profane. Looking back and riding the history of the ancient sacred hymns of Cortona, along the foggy fields of battle of the Knights Celtic, to the haunting Irish melodies, the "band" captivates and evokes, combining monophonic hymns designed for voice or essential accompaniment to a wide genre of folk music of that particular strain of the glorious Gaelic.
The beautiful voice of soprano Giovanna Girolami, Celtic harp and flute, violin Alberto Fabiani, Niki Barulli percussion and classical guitar and Irish bouzouki Vinicio Ferracuti will transport you into a forgotten and enchanting background.
